South West Music Regional Conservatorium are excited to present our first Concert Series event for 2025, featuring Tristan Lee, concert pianist.

The upcoming classical piano concert promises to be a mesmerizing evening of music, featuring a thoughtfully curated program that showcases the technical mastery and emotional depth of the piano repertoire. At the heart of the concert is Beethoven's iconic Piano Sonata Op. 27, commonly known as the 'Moonlight' Sonata, with its dreamy, introspective first movement and dramatic, virtuosic finale. This beloved masterpiece will be paired with works by other piano giants: Debussy's delicate, impressionistic Preludes, which evoke the soft, shimmering textures of light and water, and Liszt's technically dazzling La Campanella, with its breathtaking arpeggios and poetic, bell-like melodies. As the pianist navigates the contrasting moods and styles of these three composers, the audience will be treated to a rich and varied sonic landscape, spanning the Classical, Romantic, and Impressionist eras. With its unique blend of elegance, passion, and technical brilliance, this concert is sure to leave a lasting impression on all who attend, and provide a profound appreciation for the timeless beauty and expressive power of classical music.
